Printable Graphene Oxide Nanocomposites as Versatile Platforms for Immobilization of Functional Biomolecules

A series of novel nanocomposites containing graphene oxide (GO) suitable for stereolithography is presented. Different loads GO are tested, identifying that these materials can be printed with concentrations up to 2.5 wt% GO, presenting improved mechanical properties below 1.0 GO. In this range, the exhibit higher strength and toughness when compared pristine resin. Microscopic analyses material demonstrate correlated good compatibility resin, which favors its homogeneous dispersion in form flexible nanoplates. After manufacturing, availability participate surface modification reactions chitosan (CHI) an alkaline phosphatase (ALP) evaluated. CHI ALP well-known act as biological cues biorecognition processes, evidencing platforms selective immobilization functional biomolecules.
